South Florida Peacock Bass Fishing

Jonathan Johnson and I spent a few days peacock bass fishing in the Miami canals last week. We had a nice time boated about 12 to 15 fish each day. Jonathan is so passionate about peacock bass he has one an aquarium at home in Ohio. Each fish Jonathan caught was either on a jig or topwater. The hotter the water the better this specie will bite. Springtime is the best time for getting big fish because they spawn for a few months in water less than two fish deep. If you are heading to South Florida's Ft. Lauderdale or Miami area give us a call to arrange how you can catch these beautiful butterfly peacock bass or largemouth bass on the wonderful Lake Okeechobee or the Everglades.
