South Florida Peacock Bass

Bass fishing and Peacock Bass are hitting pretty well considering the cooler weather we've been having at night. Water levels will be dropping in the Everglades and the Miami canals creating good opportunities for both species. On Tuesday we had Heather & Tim Gray in Miami in the C-100 and the couple landed 7 nice fish up to 4 lbs. all on shiners. As the winter progresses these bigger male peacock bass will start to prepare for the spawn soon. As long as the water remains warm the season should be fantastic.
