South Florida Bass Fishing 4-30-08

South Florida bass fishing in the Everglades is just great right now and getting better daily. Today the Spegiel's for Tennessee had the bass fishing day of their lives! Hugh caught his biggest ever at 6 lbs. and his wife did quite well herself. We boated about 90 bass which I may have been off by a few, maybe a few short actually. I think we had at least 5 or 6 at 3 to 4 lbs. also and a few bigger ones to boot that got away! Fishing to some guide services is slow right now so choose your guides wisely. South Florida Bass Fishing 4-25-08

Bass fishing in the Florida everglades is still hot and getting better daily. Water levels are dropping and the largemouth are coming out to the drop-offs and edges. Patience and wind or clouds will increase your chances for big fish and numbers. We caught 45 bass to 4 lbs. Wednesday April 23rd all on plastic baits out on alligator alley.

South Florida Bass Fishing 4-21-08

Bass fishing in the South Florida Everglades continues to be great. Yesterday Jim Reed and his friend Barry were out and boated 68 largemouth bass to 4 lbs. with many more missed. We could have had well over 100 bass if we were on our game! The water levels are dropping now that the rain has slowed down which means more and bigger bass within the next couple weeks. South Florida Everglades Bass Fishing Reports 4-15-08

They are still biting in the Florida Everglades. Yesterday evening we were out for 4 short hours until the temperatures dropped to the high 50's in April? This is very unusual for this time of year. But despite cooler temperatures the bass are still hitting quite well. In less than 4 hours we boated 22 bass up to 3 lbs. and missed quite a few as well. The water is still high and will remain that way because with Lake Okeechobee being too low the water management department hasn't the nerve to lower the Everglades. Largemouth bass fishing remains good in a few certain areas and knowing where is the secret along with only a few baits working with any consistancy.

South Florida Bass Fishing 4-12-08

It just continues to be productive largemouth bass fishing for South Florida despite rainy weather which is unusual for this time of year. Today Ryan Benson and his buddy Scott showed up a little beat up from the night before. To be young again, but they stuck it out anyway for a half-day of South Florida Everglades bass fishing. I tried to convince them to come out later in the day when the bite really turns on but I couldn't change there mind. As we started to get ready to pack the day up the fishing was getting red hot but so were their headaches. We boated about 8 bass up to 3 pounds but the bigger ones were getting ready to eat anytime. Next time guys will get the time right!
