We decided to try Lake Okeechobee last week for the first time since hurricane Wilma struck in 2005. We headed south from Clewiston fishing the rim canal around Ritta Island and worked our way back. Together Mike Greico and I boated 15 largemouth bass up to four pounds. Mike and I both missed bigger fish at the side of the boat.
