South Florida Bass Fishing reports 11-29-07

Richard Hart and his friend from London,England Ray were out for 2 days of Peacock Bass fishing in Miami. For 2 days they boated 44 peacock bass up to 4 lbs. Most of these Peacocks were caught on shiners and rattletraps. Richard has been down twice now and is looking forward to an Amazon trip for monster Peacock Bass in Brazil. This picture of Richard is after he fell over the seat fighting this Peacock. The bass fishing in the South Florida Everglades is starting to get good on the flats but you must cover water. The bass will chase surface frogs and flappin shad type baits fished fast. Check some of our other favorite websites in the right side toolbar for more information on bass fishing or peacock bass fishing in South Florida or the Amazon River in Brazil for monster Peacock Bass.

New South Florida Bass Fishing Blog

We will be writing many bass fishing reports on how the fish are biting from Lake Okeechobee south to the Florida Everglades in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdlae areas. While guiding and fun fishing we are out on the water quite often. We also network with other guides and tournament anglers so our resources are many. With 20 years bass fishing experience in South Florida we are in touch with the current fishing conditions to bring reliable and accurate information to the public bloggers. We currently fish the South Florida Everglades canal system from West Palm Beach all the way south to Miami. With many years experience fishing this system we can be sure to help you realize the best times of the year to fish these areas. But Lake Okeechobee is the place we all like to fish the most, currently with very low water conditions the lake is dangerous for boats. This is great though for future bass fishing on Okeechobee. When the water levels come up just a few more feet the lake is going to be outstanding. We've been fishing Lake Okeechobee since 1986 and currently have property on the Rim canal, our knowledge of the lake is extensive. If you are interested in more information on fishing these great bodies of water in South Florida check out our favorite websites in the side toolbar. The South Florida fishing website can help you with as much info as you may want.
