South Florida Peacock Bass Fishing Reports 2-21-08
We've been Peacock Bass fishing lately and getting good numbers. Yesterday Nathan Reisdorph from San Antonio, Texas boated 19 peacock bass up to 2 1/2 lbs all on live shiners. I fished artificial baits and boated only 2 fish. With the hot weather just around the corner the artificial bite will pick up along with the size of boated peacocks. This is the time of year you'll see many peacock bass in very shallow water spawning which allows you to catch them quite easily. Please try not to catch both male and female fish from the same nest to preserve the spawning ritual.
